Judge Profile - Valerie Carter (South Australia)

I started showing dogs in 1970 with my first breed being the Boxer. My first dog went Boxer of the Year with a record win that still stands today. From then on I was hooked on showing. We changed to Cocker Spaniels (American) in 1985 and since then have produced many BISS/BIS winners and a Grand Champion bitch who won 43 BIG and 22 BIS/RUBIS.

I have judged in the USA, Philippines, Malaysia and India plus all states of Australia. I have judged in NZ on both Island and I am looking forward to this visit. I love judging and find great enjoyment in putting up family related dogs within a breed.

My thanks to the Committee for inviting me and I hope that the exhibitors enjoy the show and get some relief from the earthquake devastation.
